I have taken Flaxseed oil for a little over a year (pre-PCOS) because I don't feel I get enough omega 3's. Haven't noticed anything at all with regard to skin, hair nails (in fact getting worse due to new PCOS Diagnosis).
But my cholesterol results did improve greatly, but who knows how much the Flax had to do with it. Since my prior lipid panel, I had dieted, exercised a ton and lost a little weight whcih of course, will lower the lipids as well. aybe they would not have been as good without the flax?
