Hi ladies! I had my follicles checked last week after a failed 50 mg. cycle and then taking 150 mg. clomid I produced 2 mature follicles! I took Novarel (HCG) a week ago and ovulated on Monday morning. My breasts have been itchy and I've had sore nipples ever since. Is this a common side effect?

Hi Holly, I don't know if that's typical; I took HCG and didn't have those effects, though I was pretty sore at the injection site for 2 days.

I have taken the hcg injection twice and both times my nipples were extremely tender and larger. I have read that this is a side effect of the injection. Just wanted to let you know that it is normal and you are not alone.
