I put ground flax seed in my breakfast cereal (usually cooled oatmeal with lots of cinnamon and some berries) and I love it in yogurt, it is the best dessert ever!
Also I use it as a butter and egg substitute when baking -
3 TBSP ground flax replaces 1 TBSP Fat or oil.
1 TBSP ground flax + 3 TBSP water replaces 1 egg.
Cooking negates some of the positives of flax but the nutty flavor is great in just about everything I have tried it in.
