Question is anyone taking human bio-identics hormones?

I have recently been to a CNM and we are going to do a saliva test of hormones. I have heard of saliva testing and have heard of natural human hormones(bio-identical hormones). But I have not heard of the use for infertility or PCO. My sister-in-laws and mother-in-law all use natural progesterone cream for menopause.
I am hoping this is something that can get me back to normal and to O. I had my son with glucophage after trying clomid/provera with no success. The glucophage was able to reduce my insulin enough to O and AF by my self. The CNM said this should also do the same and whould be more to repair the imbalance than to just induce O. I am getting anxious to have another baby and I really want to get the ball rolling. I would like to have balanced hormones in the long run but right now I just want to be pregnant again, and I know glucophage works for me. ANY INFO ABOUT BIO-IDECNTICS WOULD BE GREAT!

Hi there!
I'm supposed to start on natural progesterone cream this week. I'm only 25 but have an extremely low level of progesterone, high testosterone and DHEAs, and low cortisol (though it was elevated 2 months ago!) At any rate, hopefully the progesterone will even things out a bit...everything seems to affect everything else...
The books by Dr.John Lee are helpful, they talk about progesterone. There are a few out there, I can't remember the exact names.
Good luck!
Marit

-Main symptoms: weight gain (especially annoying in mid-section/abdomen), high androgens, very low progesterone, no periods unless on OC
-fortunate to have very good bp, blood sugar, cholesterol, etc., no hirsutism.
