I'm thinking of trying it CD 3-7. I'm CD 50 right now and will start my prometrium on Monday. My Dr has me waiting until August to try clomid again so in the meantime I have to do something. I was just wondering if anyone was still taking it or anyone who has had success with it when combined with met.

Since starting my new life on May 24/05 of calorie counting, exercising and taking 2000mg of met faithfully I now have 'regular' ovulatory cycles and have lost 75 lbs going from a size 22 to size 10.

i'm waiting for af right now and will try spi again along with herbs(see my sig.) next cycle. i tried spi alone, no O. i tried it with 1500mg gluc xr, again, no O. gluc xr and clomid 200 mg didn't do me any good either, so i'm going back to herbs and spi before i do inj.(again) with gluc xr.

taking 1500 mg as of 12/20/02
5/13/03 actos 15 mg & met 500 mg
5/17 increased met to 1000 mg
6/6 increased met to 1500 mg
6/12 increased actos to 30 mg
7/11 reduced actos to 15 mg due to swelling
reduced met to 1000 mg due to severe diarrhea

rx meds: met & actos

9/5/03 i ovulated for the 2nd time in my life. wow!!!
new cycle 9/21
nettle infusion, almond, brewer's yeast, flax seed, standardized black cohosh

I took it this last cycle and I believe it worked. I have used three fertility tools and all three say I ovulated. Right now I am 20DPO and trying to figure out why my period hasn't started. i just find it too strange to be pregnant. Below is a link to my chart if you want to take a look.

you may not have O'ed. if you O'ed and you're not pg, then you would get af. go get a p4 and a beta, then you'll know for sure. good luck.

i took it in december, and it worked - I o'd and had a period. Took it twice since then and zip, nothing... back on BCPs since af quit coming...
