Default Anyone taking Vaniqua?

Dr. recently prescribed Vaniqua for facial hair growth. Interested in other experiences with this. I know it takes a while to completely stop the hair growth. So is it okay to shave while using it? My facial/chin hair is black and very course and I have to do something. Way past the plucking stage. Also, my insurance will not pay because it is considered cosmetic. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks Penny

Vaniqua was sooooo slow to work for me - actually, I don't even think I noticed any real change the first month. (I gave up after that).

The only med that really worked for me was Flutamide (aka Eulexin)
The BEST treatment was laser...

Check some of the threads in this forum that say "Magic" or "Magic Cream"...many cysters are having good success with it...and it only costs about $2.
