Question anyone thin that is IR taking MET what are you eating

HI i am 120pds but very skinny in legs and butt and arms.. I was wondering will the MET help me to gain weight in this area or what or will the birth control pills do that.. anyone know...plus im following the IR diet also... just started all this

This is a great question! I was just diagnosed a few days ago. Haven't gotten my insulin levels back yet, though. But I have been thinking alot about diet. I weigh about 125 and the only place I'd wanna lose weight is in the middle. So I don't really want to start an all-out diet if not necessary. I am, however, trying to make better food choices and am slowly learning about the carb levels in different foods.

Please let me know if you hear any good advice!
