Default Anyone tried homeopathy?

Hello Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone had tried visiting a homeopath for treatment of PCOS. I'm interested in whether anyone has seen good results in hair loss/growth, depression, anxiety etc etc and if people used homeopaths as an alternative or in addition to Endo treatments (Met etc). Thinking of seeking one out for help, getting sick of waiting for results from weightloss, I'm losing weight (3 stone) but no change in symptoms and NHS Endo appointments are 6 months apart with no treatment as yet.

Cheers for any input.

Hello there.

I am doing a diet with homeopathy 3 months now plus my doctor gives me herbs for my polycystic ovaries.

I am taking:
Aminoacid,
efamol primrose oil (this is to regulate my hormones),
Omega-T (Dietary supplement and to reduce triglyceride levels),
KCVL plus B6 (dietary supplement).

I have Polycystic ovaries and hypothyroidism.

I've lost 12 kilograms since I started. It helped me a lot with depression and I am feeling better. (I am on a diet and exercise too).

Hope it works for you too

Cheers for the input,

It sounds like your treatment is going well as 12kg in 3 months is excellent. Definitely going to try to see a homeopathy practioner as I am not feeling well at the moment and its a while until my next Endo appt. Lastest symptom is aching joints, swollen hands and itchiness (not sure if theres a link to the PCOS though) and my mood is terrible. Managing to keep the weight off but not losing much at the moment and no change in other PCOS symptoms.
Anyhow thanks again for the input. Keep well

Julie
