I just recently tested positive for thyroid antibodies (the AbTg one). I've had 1 miscarriage and 1 chemical pregnancy and have been researching what can be done about the antibodies. I've found that some doctors will let you take the IVIG shots if you have Hashimoto's. Has anyone ever done this and has it resulted in a successful pregnancy?
I don't know much about the IVIG shots, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to try taking 200mcg of Selenium daily. You can google it for more info, but there have been studies which showed that Selenium helped lower antibodies in some people. It worked for me in a matter of months.
Best wishes.

Lynn, I started taking the Selenium, I figure it's worth a shot. But, I've googled it and found that it mostly helps people with high TPO antibodies. I only had high Tg antibodies. Which antibodies did the selenium lower for you?
