If this is anything like last cycles, I will have near to no line tonight when I get home. Any thoughts? Last cycle I only had one strip with any sort of postive looking line on it.
BTW, I threw this together in the 10 minutes I had left before leaving for work. DH came out of the bedroom, saw what I was doing and shook his head. I asked him about them this morning and didn't get a satisfactory answer lol
Looks like a nice progression right up to a + on CD 15! Even if it's just this side of -, it looks like you caught it on the way up and it'll be + shortly. If you have nowhere near a line tonight, that'll pretty much verify it.

I don't think it is positive. It has to be as dark or darker and it still looks lighter. The same thing happened to me for months before I realized I was not Oing at all. Not saying this to be a downer but if it never gets as dark as the other line and you are testing every day it might mean you are not Oing.
Gwenneh-I think you're right. I'm just concerned that it's not dark enough and tonight, I won't have a line at all.
Britta-When I a smililar line last cycle, I had my p4 drawn and it was 17. But I only had one "positive looking" strip.

I'm sorry but those are negative. The test line has to be darker than the others.
That doesn't mean it won't be in a few days though! There isn't necessarily a natural progression of the line darkening on each test before a positive, which I think throws a lot of people off. For every month I used OPKs, mine would look just like yours, to the point where I thought maybe this was as dark as it would get, and then the line would get fainter and fainter each time I tested to the point where it was non-existent. I thought I had missed it but I kept testing and got the definite positive every time a few days later (confirmed by bloodwork and pregnancy!) Sometimes you just ovulate late (on my first round of Clomid I didn't O until CD 27!!)
Katey - congrats on your BFP! Your last OPK is a definite positive because the test line is darker. Lucky Sara's aren't quite there yet and look lighter than yours.

Jenny- I tested for 5 days after what I thought was my positive last cycle and it faded out to nothing. I'm going to keep testing even if it disappears tonight just to see. I stocked up last night. I know I O'd because my progesterone was 17 but I didn't have it drawn until cd21 and it was cd 19 when I stopped testing.

Also, my cycle was only 29 days long last time (vast improvement from 33 to 36).

Yup, same thing happened to me. I got OPKs like yours on CD 15 or something like that, and kept testing for nearly 2 weeks before I got my positive. I'm just saying that there's isn't always a natural progression like most women think, your hormone levels can fluctuate your entire cycle and the OPKs will reflect that. It's a good idea for anyone to keep testing when the tests are close but still a negative.
If blood work confirmed you O'd, then you very well could have ovulated and just missed your surge on the OPKs, I've heard that happening to many women. Sometimes the surge only lasts a few hours so if you don't test right then, then it won't pick it up.

I would treat it as a positive. Like Jenny said, you may have missed your actual positive producing surge. It happens with me almost every cycle.
Keep testing just to make sure, but I would also cover yourself with bd'ing!

I think it is either positive or nearly positive. Either way, probably the best thing you can do is take a deep breath, relax as much as possible, and BD BD BD whenever you can for the next week. I'm having the exact same problem reading my OPKs (same brand). Jenny-Just so I make sure I get this right, even if I only had a 29 day cycle could I have ovulated later than cd14-cd16? My hormone levels are normalized so I'm sure my luteal phase isn't that short. I'm just sick of this whole mess and really want to get it right.
