Anyone use EMU oil?

I was having a conversation the other day with someone asking me what I did that finally made a pregnancy stick. The only thing I could come up with at the time was that I lost 40lbs in the few months before from being sick and in the hospital. Then it just dawned on me today, the month I got pregnant, I started using EMU oil. I originally started using it because I read that it could help regrow lost hair. Apparently, the omega fatty acids in the oil are what helps with the hair loss. EMU oil has been used in Austrailia for thousands of years for all kinds of stuff from pain relief to smoothing wrinkles.

I was reading today that the essential fatty acids in the emu oil can help regulate the reproductive system. So, if you are looking for something to add to your regimen, the EMU oil can't hurt. I used the pure oil and was rubbing it directly on my scalp.

Is emu oil only for topical use or do people ingest it as a supplement? Also I know this is probably awful of me to ask - but if you use it topically, do you smell like chicken fat?

lol, I've seen it both ways. I was using the oil topically. Granted, it doesn't smell great but once it was rubbed in, I didn't really notice it. I was rubbing it in and then going to sleep so it didn't matter to me.
