Default Anyone used Soy or NPC?

Hi all. Just curious if anyone has used Soy or Natural Progesterone Cream to help bring on their periods or help with ovulation? Apparently soy works along the same lines as clomid in inducing ovulation. If any of you have used either of them can you let me know how much you used and what the outcome was? Did you just get a prescription from a GP?

Thanks!
Carmen

I use NPC day 14-24 to have a period. I am not ttc, but it keeps me fairly regular and helps prevent my acne. It was prescribed by a doc.

I also use NPC, prescribed by a GP, days 14 - 26 (ish). It certainly helps stabilise me, although my cycle is far from perfect - it does take a while to work. Like the pill, I have to be precise with the times I take it - I set my alarm to remember it exactly 12 hourly or I get breakthrough bleeding.

As for soy, I avoided it because I heard it has the same side-effects as Clomid, which I reacted badly to. Also I value my thyroid, so try to avoid soy as a general rule.
