Cool anyone used Vichy NormaDerm?

I bought a set yesterday that includes the cleansing gel and moisturizer. They both have salicylic acid and glycolic acid. I used the cleansing gel right away, and it's *amazing*. My skin felt so clean and smooth. I had no idea there was so much dead skin and gunk residing on my face!

It's supposed to help clear up acne within about a month. Has anyone tried this stuff? If so, what were your results?

I just have mild acne on my cheeks, but it's persistant enough to be annoying. I'm really hoping this stuff works. So far it seems great. And I should hope so, considering it cost me $30 (cdn) for the cleanser and moisturizer.

Default I've tried it

Yup, I have used Vichy's NormaDerm products...the exfoliating facial wash and the moisturiser. To be honest, I wasn't really all that pleased about the results. I thought that my face felt weird all day long with the moisturiser and I would wake up in the morning with a very oily complexion. Considering this is supposed to control excess oil production, I wasn't at all impressed! I didn't think it made my skin any worse really, but for products that are not at all cheap I wouldn't buy them again. I am now using the 3-step Clinique regime, which I find is excellent - especially the moisturising gel for skin types 3 and 4. Then again if Vichy works for you, continue using it. Everyone's skin is different after all!

The moisturizer is a little...strange. It has a different feel to it. And I find that if I don't rub it in, then there's almost like a bit of a film from it. I love the cleansing gel though. I haven't tried the exfoliating wash though.

I haven't looked at any of the Clinique stuff before. But if the NormaDerm doesn't work out, then I'll check it out. Thanks.
