I vote for South Beach Diet as a really great option if you decided the PCOS Diet Book is too weird. I took lots of recipes from both. South Beach allows artificial sweeteners which I try to stay away from all together (Stevia is fine).... the PCOS Diet Book goes into detail about artificial sweeteners and why they are extra bad for cysters.

I lost 30 lbs in 3 months so easily going to LA Weightloss. Its basically eating right and like a diabetic. I was at the top of my weight chart and wanted to get at the bottom ... Dr thought that would help my PCOS and it did, along with Met. I would recommend just getting a book or two on how to eat healthy as a diabetic.
I'm pregnant now and I plan on eating this way again after the baby is born. I couldn't believe how EASY it was to drop the pounds...it was FAST.
