I saw that guy who wouldn't leave last night.........I laughed so hard I thought I was going to burst an important internal organ or something. That was so funny. Gotta go (Soph calls)...
Also watching already! Only bits so far.... Some were real shockers, and some were great. Don't know if you guys caught the south african guy on Sunday night, but I thought he was really good, hope he makes it through.

Nic - I agree with you re: SA guy. He was good. That girl last night with the curly hair was great too. Gorgeous voice and look - always a lucky combo in Idol.
Did you see Courtney's brother? He was great too - imagine if he went further than Courtney - how would you feel?
Yeah, I thought Courtney's brother was good too, and the young girl in NT who sang the Whitney Houston song.

I saw my first episode the other night. It was the Brisbane lot. No doubt I'll become addicted too. What can some of these people be thinking!! Like DH and I said, who tells some of these people that they can sing. That 18yo kid (I didn't think I should say man) who decided to arm wrestle Kyle. Little turd! However...that 16yo girl with the guitar was brilliant! I loved her. I will have to watch just to see how far she goes. If I was a betting woman....

I really liked her too Donna. I missed all of the Brissie auditions because the phone rang... I guess I'll have to catch up with them in Sydney. They looked pretty bad from the ads I saw though - did they get anyone good from here?
I was on the floor laughing at that guy called George Bec. He's the one who:
-called himself a 'metrosexual'
-was surprised when asked if he was gay (even though he definitely seemed to fit the physical sterotype of a gay guy)
- couldn't remeber the words to the song he was meant to sing as part of a trio
- left because he refused to sing another artists song.
I wish he hadn't left. He was just too funny.

Mez - Yeah he was so funny. I especially loved how he referred to himself in the 3rd person. And how he had the picture of himself on his own phone! They should have made sure he went through just for the ratings!
I was LMAO at George too!!! I haven't seen a whole lot of idol - bits here and there. I'm looking forward to this coming week though. They have some awesome talent amongst the top 24.

I saw a tiny bit last night - the curly haired guy was AWESOME - he did a great job. I missed the Irish guy and only heard the feedback from the judges - was he good?

I'm watching it for the second time tonight and the girl who I liked has gone Tonight I really liked the young mother the best I think, singing Trouble. The last girl was good too, with I wish I was a punk rocker. Not too keen on her outfit though. I'm just getting long in the tooth I guess.

Oh Donna I HATED that girls outfit - I just couldn't get past it at all - so I just couldn't take to her. The rocker chick was good. I liked the girl singing evanescence, also still like the girl who sang Whitney, but really, none of them grabbed me much tonight. I think last night was much harder to pick because they were better.
