Now I have to admit my father gave me the gift of a nursery designer for my birthday. She is helping me with the baby's room and DD's room. But truth be told, I like older furniture. Things that have been refinished and art projects. I'm only using the desginer to assist organizing the nursery and give storage ideas. I don't have a budget of 25k. That's crazy. Honest for as much money as they spent. It didn't look half as expensive as some of the other nurseries on other episodes.
DH watched an episode with me and laughed the entire time. He was like, has anyone heard of a college or trust fund? A newborn can care less if its Gucci, Prada, Walmart or Target.

That is the thing 2 of the things in my sons room are older and very antique , his dresser was his great grandfathers. We also have a 50 year old hand crafted rocking horse. The crib/changing table and rocker were from a friend who had twins and didn't need it anymore.
We were lucky to get it all to match and look great... I too love the older look.
Seriously no child that young is going to know prada from walmart. coach from target.
College or trust fund is right..
Now I really want to watch the show... just to see how it is..

I have no idea if we get WE or not...so I'm going to have to look this up.
Half of my furniture is old hand me downs from DH's Grandparents. I LOVE that our dining room set is what they started their marriage out with, more than 70 years ago. I love that Lainey and Evie are sleeping in the same beds that MIL and her sister slept in, and that the bedroom set was made by their Great-Great Grandpa.
