Default ? for anyone who has had a complete thyriod removel

OK i've got a question for my mom she had to have a complete thyriod removel in May they had put her on the medicene she'd have to take everyday sense they had removed it but the dr had her stop taking the medicene on Aug 2nd until next week so they could do a scan and more blood work well today she is numb rapid heartbeat and tinglying real bad she can't even sit up, everything i have read she isn't supost to miss not 1 day of this medicene does this sound normal? Has anyone eles ever had to stop taking it like this? This has me wondering if the dr knows what he's doing, thanks for the help in advance

My grandpa had his removed years ago but I don't know how he felt. I have hashimotos and sometimes the medicine wigs me out. I just change the time of day I take is and that usually helps me. Did they up her dose because my mom who also has hasimotos had to have her dosage reduced because it was to high and making her feel the way you described. anyway, hope this helps, good luck and tell your mom to feel better.
