ANYONE????? From Yellowknife Northwest Territories??
OMG!!!
They want my hubby to take awork transfer to yellowknife! It would be for 2 years and the money is good too, even though rent is 2000.00 a month!!!!!
That is 2200 kilometers away from where I live now!!!! And aprox that away from any of my family The good news is that twice a year they supply us with plane ticket to wherever we want.
I am highly doubting that anyone here is from Yellowknife, but I thought i'd give it a try!!

Winter isn't really any different that it is here! Besides in the summer it is almost 24 hour light for 3 months
We will find out next wed,thur or friday if we are going, but it sounds like we are as my hubby phoned his district manager because another job was posted and asked if he should apply for that too, and he said no there really isn't a need too Basically posting the job is a formality and 99% we are going, just waiting for the for sure answer!

Yeah, I live in Saskatchewan right now! So we are kinda used to snow. Although this past winter we hardly had any snow!

Seriously, I have always been interested in moving temporarily to the NWT or Yukon and there are alot of jobs for social workers there as well with good pay. But I opted for the UK instead.
