I read alot of posts with horror stories about Yasmin, anyone here have anything positive to say about it? I am currently taking Orthotrycycline Lo. I have been on it for four months now and have not noticed any improvement with Acne. I went to GYN today (she said that after four months, I should of seen improvement) and I will be starting Yasmin on Sunday. Has it helped anyone here with hairloss and regrowth?
I am on Yasmin. I was on ortho try reg for years. Doc switched me in December and I like it much better than the other. My acne is better and my man hair is better.
I am also on 1500 met and use proactive.
I feel it has made a positive difference.

I took Yasmin for 3 1/2 years and it nearly eliminated my oily skin, acne and facial hair. I went off it for 1 month because I wanted to use NPC for the next 6 months until we start TTC. Already, my oily skin, acne and facial hair have come back in full force. I am going to ask my dr to re-prescribe it for me until we are actually ready to start TTC. Oh, also, I did not cycle on the NPC and always did on the Yasmin. The only problem I had was I would have a bad headache for one day about 2-3 days before AF but after reading all the other side effects of women on BCPs, I can handle a headache for 1 day a month.

OH, I hope it's a good med. My doc wants to try me on it. I've been off hormone meds for 6 weeks for testing and have never felt worse or more emotionally unstable. I know spiro shot my free androgen index way down into normal range, and really hope Yasmin will help.
