APPEARANCES
I stand on a mountain and look below,
And watch a river as it flows.
It seems so small from where i stand,
Yet the river, is oh so grand.
I stand in a valley and look above,
And wonder how people ever find love.
From where i stand the world seems vast,
Yet love will come and love will last.
I stand on a road and look ahead,
And see the journey i have to tread.
It seems so long from where i stand,
Yet the end will come sooner than planned.
I stand by a mirror and look and see,
The image that everyone thinks is me.
Yet the real me has feelings and also dreams,
And i know things aren't always what they seem. |
