Default appetite - yikes!

Hi -

Anyone experience constant hunger on gluc XR? The first week I was taking regular metformin and my appetite was much smaller, which was great. But the second week I switched to XR because I thought it would be easier to just take it at one time. Well, since I've been on the XR (one week at 500 mg, one week at 1000 mg.) my appetite has been out of control! My AF started the week I switched to XR, so I attributed the crazy appetite to that. But my AF went bye-bye a few days ago and the appetite has remained (but not as bad as right before AF).

I thought this stuff was supposed to suppress your appetite??? This certainly is not going to help with weight loss! I think I'm going to go back to the regular metformin.

Has anyone else experienced this??? I'm wondering if my hormones are just completely out of whack...

Thanks!
Sara : )
