Default Arg!!! My hair is coming back and I think its the Ortho-Tricyclen Lo!

This is my second month on OTCL and my arm hair is coming back like nothing before. Along with extreme hunger my facial hair is starting to come back after slowing down with Spiro. Does anyone have experiance with this?? Will my body adjust to it? TIA

I have also taken this and am back on it after a run with Avandia. I took it without the spiro. but know you can take it with spiro. if you like. If you have recently quit spiro. it could be the result of the spiro. loss. Have you switched to this after using another bc Pill? It did take a few months for my body to adjust. The androgen is still low in this as is the progestin. It may possibly be the change or evening out of hormones for you. You could always have your dr. run a SHBG level for you to see if the pill is lowering your testosterone nicely. Your SHBG should be high on the pill to mop up excess androgen free floating out there.

My skin and hair are diminished on this pill as compared to some of the more androgenic ones I've tried (Alesse, Lo-ovral, triphasil, estrostep) Hope this helps some. Good luck with it!
