Angry ArGgGGgh....Waxing Mayhem....Help!!

On Wed I was feeling sassy so I decided to get my eyebrows and feet done. I told the guy, "I want my feet and eyebrows done", he nodded and sent me to the back for the eyebrow wax. So, the lady starts to wax my eyebrows and before I knew it there was wax on my UPPER LIP and then she was ripping it off. Paaaiiinnn. The funny thing is that my upper lip is the only part of my body not all hairified, its all blonde. I was mortified and I wanted to crush the ladies head...but I kept my cool. When she was doing my feet I wanted to kick her in the face...lol. Subsequently, I have these red bumps and scaling on my upper lip and along the sides...arrrgg. What do I do?? What SUCKS is that I have to go somewhere special on monday and I look like I have been chewing on glass. ACK!!! What should I do?? TIA

-I just put on some hydrocortisone cream...hope it helps...Maybe that Bikini Zone stuff might help..??

polysporin and/or lavendar oil has always worked for me when I get those nasty bumps from waxing.

if you can stand the smell of polysporin, anyways. (though I don't know much about hydrocortisone cream...maybe that will end up helping? I dunno.)

did you tell the woman afterwards that you DIDN'T ask to get your upper lip done? man, I woulda been livid.

hope it clears up for you! I remember when I was all red and scaly after electrolysis and had to go to a job interview. blah.

All I have to say is: Why is it that men never have these issues?

UGH!

polysporin is available at any drug store and probably places like Walmart that carry things like tylenol.

I got my little vial of lavendar oil from my electrolysist. I'm sure most higher end salons and spas would carry it.

good luck! I hope it clears up in time for you! what a pain in the ass, these things we have to endure.
