Unhappy Argh! - Any Wax Recommendations?

I can't take this freakin' hair any longer! I am going absolutely crazy!

I have hair on my chin and it grows back SUPER fast. A year ago, I went to my dermatologist for a laser treatment. The treatment went well and for awhile, I hardly had any hair growth. I knew I was supposed to go back for multiple treatments but I didn't (bad, I know).

For the past 2 months, the hair growth has been at it's worse! When I had initially got my laser treatment, my dermatologist told me she wanted me to shave until I return for another treatment. I've been shaving and the hair grows back in 48 hours. That's insane! Last week when I had my doctor's appointment, my doctor said my testosterone levels were normal. She prescribed me Vaniqa but that stuff is way too expensive!

I immediately called my dermatologist for another laser treatment appointment but they can't fit me in until April 13th! I can't deal with this hair from now until then. I'm beginning to get razor bumps and discoloration. It's to the point where I wear a sweater on fairly warm days just to cover up my chin.

Therefor, i've decided to try wax until I can make it back to the dermatologist. Do you guys have any recommendations on what wax I should get and where to get it? Anything would be much appreciated. Thanks!

But if you wax for the next two months the laser treatment won't be very effective. Get a (men's type) electric razor which will be less irritant than wet shaving. Try one from the Philips-Norelco range which are usually reckoned to be the least irritant way of shaving. I have a very sensitive skin and don't find any irritation (although I did get irritation when I tried a Braun electric razor).

The only wax that has been great for me is Nufree Nudesse. However, only a salon can purchase it. So I would say ask around different salons to see if they have waxing services or look for spas as well that carry this product. I do not get ingrown etc with this type of wax. Also, I take evening primrose oil. And I am going to visit my dermo for Vaniqa soon. I would not recommend shaving. To me, waxing is better. But everyone is different.

I just posted this in another thread so I'm sure its going to seem like I am spamming. I personally use Moom sugar wax. It works on all my course hairs and doesn't hurt as much as traditional waxes. It did take a few tries to figure out how much to apply in order to grab the most hairs. I've been using it for so many years now I think I've gone pro!
