Anyone bought the home waxing kit thingy from Argos? It's like the wax system they use in many beauty salons, that heats the wax and comes with cotton strips. I am thinking of buying it (getting it as a bday present) to use on my legs and arms. I would get my mum to do the waxing part though as I am not that flexible to be able to contort myself and do a good job haha!

Alison - ha... I am not the only one who browses the Argos catalogue... it's so heavy though it's like a giant Bible.
I have had waxing done at beauty salons with good results... my arms mainly. It gets quite expensive after a while if you keep having it done, which obviously you probably would do if you are a hairy mary or just a fuzzball like myself. I wonder if it's as good as the salon stuff - assuming my mum can master the art of waxing, she's had a go at it on me before using normal wax strips and was very good at it for some reason. I also wonder if it's easy to get replacements of the consumables - wax, strips etc. HMMMMM!

My sister came today for my belated bday celebrations - and she gave me this kit as my present. Have yet to use it as you have to watch a DVD and I haven't had a chance. I have grown my leg hair specially HAHAHA - not... I am so lazy.
Will let you know how I get on.

Anyway ...its just like waxing!!!! Except not messy!!
I LOVE it!
i get a salon wax done from time to time then use an epilator in between. it hurts to start with but i would deffo recommend it - it deffo gets better over time! stick to it, and within a couple of months im sure you would find it hardly hurts at all xx
