I live near the Memphis area, but I am willing to travel..so if any one can recommend a pcos educated gyno I'd highly apperciate it..I saw a gyno in my area, she put me on Femcon to try to stop the bleeding, she wanted me to take it for 6 months, it stopped my bleeding for 3 weeks, then I started all over again. When I informed her of this, her exact words "Well, shot, I hate to hear that. Keep taking the pills to see if they work" DID YOU NOT HEAR ME SAY I'M STILL BLEEDING? Then a few weeks later, I woke up with a sharp popping pain in my right ovary, blood all around me, went to the E. R. they said it was just a normal period..still have no idea what that pain was and why there was so much blood..anyways, didn't mean to vent..Oh, I stopped taking the Femcon and my bleeding stopped a week later..hmm..

Someone said that there was a good OBGYN that is PCOS educated in Conway Arkansas....I can't remember her name, but she isn't at the conway OBGYN clinic. she is at the other clinic at the woman's center at the conway regional hospital....Good luck.

I live in the Memphis Area and I go to the Ruch Clinic. My doctor's name is Dr. Peeler. He is one of the best I've been to. If you need some more information, you can go to ruchclinic.com. I hope this helps.

I bet the doctor in Jonesboro is Dr. Ganong at the NEA Clinic. I'm not positively sure that is the one she is talking about. I see an allergist in Jonesboro and he recommended him to me. But at the time I had an endo. I asked if he treats women with PCOS and I was told he does. Other than that I don't know anything about him. If you try him and like him please let me know. My first endo closed his office and I'm driving to Little Rock to see one. I've only seen him once and I'm not sure if I like him or not...
