hey all. so i was just diagnosed with pcos today. and really happy to have found this wonderful board. i've been reading and learning about so many things! well, my reason for this post is that i've had excessive, dark arm hair that has always bothered me. i've been shaving my arms for years now. i'm wondering do any of ya'll do the same? and if so, what's your routine? anything that really works well for you?
Hi! I too have thick, dark arm hair and have been shaving them for many years now. So long, that I only have to do it like once a week or even longer. Hey, whatever makes you feel better right???

i shave my arms as well. they look much more delicate and thin when they're nakie!

I shave mine everyday, I've been doing it for about 4 years now. Its kind of annoying, but I like the feel of my naked arms as opposed to my hairy ones!
i use hair removal cream but its not very effective, im trying to pluck up the courage to shave but scared as anywere else ive shaved leaves big black dots and needs shaved everyday
i only remove the hair up to my elbow but ive got hair above there which is dark and fuzzy but not too bad that id remove it but i feel self concius as the bottom of my arms are smooth, how far up the arm do u ladies remove the hair

I wax. I had it done professionally a few times and watched the technique. Then I went to Sally Beauty Supply and bought a wax heater, wax and muslin strips and now I do it myself. It is a great exfoliator. When my hair was thick and dark it lasted about 4 weeks. Met & Spiro have helped make it thinner and lighter as well as years of waxing, so now I only wax every 6 - 8 weeks.
