Default Armour thyroid sublingual???

Anybody else taking armour sublingually?? This is my first time ever taking any type of thyroid medication and it takes 10 minutes for it to disolve under my tongue.
It is less than pleasant.
Anybody else? Any tips?

I take Armour sublingually. I take it right before bed and usually fall asleep with it under my tongue. It's not wonderful tasting but I don't find it to be intolerable... I just make sure I am swallowing my saliva and not letting it swish around or pool in my mouth.

Also, I keep mine in the fridge and I find that cuts down on the smell a little.

I take mine sublingually. It takes 10 minutes for mine to dissolve, too. I have to make sure that I don't talk or that it will move around and I'll just have to swallow it. You will get used to it and not even notice the taste. I take mine immediately after I brush my teeth, and all I taste is toothpaste.

You don't have to take it sublingually, but the other alternative is taking it on a completely empty stomach and not eating for 2 hours afterwards so that your body can absorb it properly. If you take it sublingually it goes directly into your bloodstream and you don't have to worry about eating or not eating, etc.
