For our foster son. He's been with us for three months now (he's 9 months old). On August 30th, we go to court to see if he stays with us. We are foster to adopt, but when you foster, you are supposed to agree to the ultimate goal of reunification. I would really love some prayers that things go the way they are supposed to go on August 30th. That whatever is right for our foster son happens.

Heavenly Father, I take the time to pray for this little boy right now. I ask that you would protect him and give him the loving and supportive family he needs. That he would have structure in his home and know everyday that you are around him and will take care of His every need. I pray for this foster family and know what its like to be a having been one myself. Father, give her peace and help them through this process. Hold this family together and bind their hands together if its your will. Help the courts know whats best for the child and in tern Let your will be done Father...In Jesus Mighty Name...Amen!

Sorry this took so long! The judge ordered full-family foster care for birthmom and our foster son AND his little sister who is due in a few weeks. Our little man is still with us for now, until they can find a home for all of them. Birthmom will live there for about a year and be taught how to parent. Everyone is doubting she'll make it through a year....if she chooses to leave the full-family situation, our foster son comes back to live with us, along w/ his little sister. The judge ordered visitation for my DH and I while our foster son is in full-family...for the first time ever. So now it's more "sit and wait" and see what happens.
