I would love to!! I was actually lurking around to see if I could find a weight loss buddy. I need all the help that I can get and lots of motivation!! Have you already started Atkins? Let me know if you are still interrested!

I don't know that Adkins is a very good diet for cysters like us. It contains alot of high protein foods, sure. But along with that comes the fact that our systems are already screwed up and we need balance. I have read that the South Beach Diet is much better as it is more well rounded. Just my opinion, of course!

I am doing atkins! I have a lot of energy, and my clothes are falling off after 2.5 weeks. Atkins is actually what my RE told me to go on to control my IR. Did you start? How is it going for you?

i have been an atkinier for years. i keep falling off- lack of will power - but still no excuse. the first time i lost 45 lbs, went from a 20 to a 15 size, and got my cycle back on track. this time around i have lost 40 so far, and went from a size 24 to a 20 so far. I have to say that make sure you go by the book, litterally. the best version is the 1972 version, OR the yellow dr atkins new diet revolution written in the 90's. DO NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT buy or follow any book past 2000, or get any atkins products. They are not what the good dr intended, and not by the good dr either. and the new books are written by the buisness, which as well all know is just ment to make money- but anyway, good luck, nd really it works as long as you follow it!!! if you halfway follow it, then it will only halfway work. if you stop eating right, then you will gain it all back, just like any diet.
