Talking Thanks!

Great, Thanks for the reply! Is there any flavors that are better than others?

What about the Advantage bars? Breakfast is so hard! Who has time to make eggs in the morning? NOT ME!

Thanks Again!

Thumbs up

I have only ever had the chocolate shakes and they're delicious. So much better than a Slim Fast or any other kind I've tried ever.. I love them!! I can't wait to try the Strawberry.
Thanks!

Thumbs up Atkins Ready-To-Drink Shakes

they are great! i have had both chocolate and vanilla and am looking forward to trying the strawberry. if i get a craving for ice cream, i pour one into a plastic bowl and freeze it. they're also great as a "milkshake"- simply put some ice in a blender, pour in a can or even half a can (half makes a good amount) and let er rip! you can make them as thick or as thin as you'd like and are very tasty!!! sometimes i even put strawberries in!!
enjoy!!!

I love all the atkins shakes but I think my favorite is strawberry. It has a very sweet milkshake like taste! (My husband thought the strawberry sounded like it would be awful but decided that they were "pretty good".) I think they are wonderful and they really fill me up! He has lost 22 lbs on Atkins in about a month, I on the other hand am just trying to control my weight with these drinks. They are a great way to get the nutrition too. Men...they seem to lose so easy yet I struggle to lose anything. My body seems very resistant to weight loss!

The vanilla shakes are great. As for the bars, my fave is the chocolate peanut butter bar- 2 carbs. It's not quite a Reese cup, but it's not bad

Default love them!

They're the best! They're very sweet. All flavors are good. The ready to drink shakes are much better than the powder. The only problem I come across is feeling a little hungry before it's time for lunch, in comparison to eating eggs.

I prefer the atkins shakes in a can vs the powder. I love the chocolate. I think it is really good to put it in a blender with some ice and a handful of frozen strawberries. Kinda like a shake. Yummy! Also, I just found in our Raleys market here in Reno was Atkins Icecream! Kind of expensive but if you just gotta have some it's worth it. Tried the chocolate I like it Haven't tried the vanilla yet.
Breakfast can be difficult if you are like me and wait until the last minute to get up in the AM. I usually scramble some eggs and sausage or something like that the night before, when I make my lunch, and nuke them for a minute at work. They are good! I was worried.

Also, If nuked eggs are just to much for you, you can hardboil eggs and eat them cold with some lunch meat or make egg salad with celery sticks, mushrooms, or pork rinds used as a scoop. I also like cream cheese on celery sticks. That is my night time snack if I need something crunchy.

If you like spicy food then make some ceviche with tomatos, onion, peppers( I like jalapenos) bellpeppers, a sprinkle of lime, cilantro, salt and pepper to taste and some tuna or shrimp. this is also great with pork rinds. Be prepared to have some breath that can knock you over though. I generally don't eat ceviche for breakfast. It is good for lunch or snack or anytime.
There is also this little snack I like with shrimp cocktail ( watch the sugar in the sauce) poured over a block of cream cheese. Great with celery or pork rinds. CAN YOU TELL I AM A BIT HUNGRY? I know I got off the subject some but I hope I was helpful to you. thanks for letting me ramble. Sure could go for an Atkins shake right now. Pat ( Mrs. Lunar)

I hope some of these suggestions are helpful to you.
