Student Video Clips -- Careers and Colleges/Student Health 101
Student Health 101 is an e-newsletter for college students about important health and social issues. We reach more than 200,000 students at more than 200 colleges nationwide.
For our next issue,
we're looking for students to send us video clips of themselves sharing their opinions and personal experience/problems with the following topics: binge drinking, unhealthy relationships, stress during finals time, finding the right weight for you.
In these video clips, students may speak about themselves or someone they know. Keep in mind their advice or insight could help other students. If students or the PR office at the school has a Web cam in their computer or a digital video camera, this can be relatively easy to do.
Students submit clips that are generally 30 seconds long or less, but it can run a bit longer if you like. Students submit the videos via the Internet using standard electronic media formats such as Quicktime, .wav, .mov and others.
If interested in doing this, I can send you a link to our latest newsletter. We're trying to get clips in by the end of next week, if possible but we are flexible. For every clip we use, we pay $25. Notice in the newsletter that all students start by saying their name and school: "Hi, I'm TK, from 'X' University." Drop us a line back if you think any students can do this.
