Default Attn: Christian women-- QuiverFull?

Hi ladies, I just wanted to ask a few quick questions? Have you all ever heard of the term Quiverfull? (Do a search and type in quiverfull.com)

I have considered myself quiverfull for the past 4-5 years and never knew about pcos until this past January. I was just wondering how the other Christian women thought about being Qiverfull with pcos.

By the way I am attending a non- denominational Bible believing church.
Thanks in advance and if you are gonna "flame" me please don't bother. Rather not deal with that stress!!

Never heard of it. Checked out the web site real quick, and I can see it's about ideas and support for families. Can you give me some more information in regards to how you use it? Thanks.

I do know that Scripture mentions having a quiver full of children, and know some people who have prayed for them and have them. I am not quite sure I understand what you are asking though? Are you asking is it possible to have a quiver full if you suffer from PCOS?

Psalms 127:5 says this about children - Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate. Quiver is a hebrew word for the case in which a warrior carried his arrows. Hope this helps some! Please let me know more about what you were asking!

Sorry ladies, my internet was down for a few days!!

Quiverfull digest is basically over 2000 couples that have been convicted of the sanctity of life and believe in God for any and all children that He would send into their life. They do not use birth control in most cases. Some families have 10-16 children!! This spring we had a Colorado Quiverfull picnic in Colorado springs and about 10 families showed up. It was very neat to meet all of the families....

Some of the ladies had periods of infertility and it was kind of neat to see how they went through it and all.

I also know of at least two women from the digest that have PCOS...
Anyway, I hope that cleared it up a little.

Yes, my concern was with having pcos and the question of wheather or not God intended us to have children at all??? Very confusing sometimes!!

I'd be interested in that, but I believe God will reveal that to us in His own time, however, there are MANY MANY women in the Bible that had fertility issues and had children.
