Ok...So I have Rexall NPC and I have used it four times now. I definitely feel a little "hormone-y," breasts are swollen, and very faint abdominal cramps. Also, lots of thin clear discharge. Am I on my way to AF?? I sure hope so!!
I can't wait until I have used it the full time and can stop and see if AF comes. This NPC is having the same effect as Prometrium has on me...moody and weird dreams, so I'm hopeful!

When I started NPC I got af after using it for 10 days. I don't remember my symptoms, or feelings at that time, but it sounds like it could be working. Congrats!
Thanks Rebecca527 and AimeeLoren for responding! I hope you both are right and I can expect AF soon! Today the cramps were a little more noticeable and I'm getting that restless feeling I used to get before AF. We shall see....

The Rexall NPC from Walmart works great for me. I did a progesterone challenge for one month (using it daily) to get my levels up and bring on AF, and now I'm fairly regular and just using it during the luteal phase. Good luck!

Tonight's application will make day #9 on NPC. The cramps have gone away...so maybe they'll crank back up when I stop using it in a couple days. I'm very hopeful! No more EWCM...pretty dry, which I'm still new to the world of examining CM, but I think that EWCM followed by very little thick CM is a sign that you O'ed and now AF is soon to come? I dunno...anyway...I'm praying for AF!

I hope it works out for you. I would keep applying the npc until af comes.. within reason of course. Some times I went a lot longer than 14 days of use to bring af on.
My cycles are odd, as are most of ours. lol They last forever and ever and ever, with small breaks in between. This month I did the NPC starting on June 1 instead of the progestins prescribed to me. My period started on day 9 of the NPC. Even better? It went away in 6 days! LOL
Yes, this is a big thing for me. It's the first normal, real period I've had in YEARS. Not only was the length of my period normal, I started on CD28. I'm not sure if I actually ovulated last month, but from my chart, I don't think so. I had a large peak very late in my cycle, but I'm not sure what the deal with that was.
Bottom line - I'm in love with NPC.

I am on day 5 of NPC- so far just a little itchyness everywhere. Supersenitive skin. I am feeling like I do when I take Provera. I am hoping to see a response.
To those who use it-- How long does it take to get AF and is the flow heavier? I am getting a ultrasound this Friday to follow up on a tumor in my ovary. I am hoping it will be gone. I am wondering if NPC will interfere with preventing a tumor fron shrinking. I know docs sometimes prescribe BCP to see if it will go away. Just wondering.

My first time using it took 10 days to get AF. I don't remember it being heavier than normal, but what's normal anyway?? I have no idea how it works with a tumor. Good luck, I hope everything works out for you.
AF has arrived!! She came knocking yesterday evening and has been accompanying me through my day. Not as heavy yet as I expect it to get, b/c this is the first AF in almost 7 months. I did NPC for 10 days (like I usually do with Prometrium) and on day 11 AF came as if it was a personal invitation. I'm soooo excited!!
