Default atypical endometrial hyperplasia

Anyone have or had atypical endometrial hyperplasia? Doctor told me that this is what the pathologist thinks I have. I had a D&C recently and that is what came back in the report. He said it would be nothing to worry about except the atypical part. That could me that it is precancerous! He said he hasn't seen someone my age (27) with atypical, but it could just be from going without a period for long periods of time. It mostly occurs in premenapausal women. This is scary for someone who wants children. He is sending my info for a second opinion. Anyone have this and could share you experience? Thanks,

Pray for me.

I had it a long time ago. I had a D&C and then was put on a drug called Megace for a few months. It, unfortunately, is something that can occur as a reult of not having normal periods. Over time the lining builds up and begins to change. It is a pre-cancerous condition, but it sounds like you caught it in time, as I did. I got pregnant with my son AFTER the hyperplasia so chin up, it doesn't mean you won't ever be able to have kids.
