So apparently it's Australia/New Zealand week next week. So I figured we could all rally around and post some stuff in celebration, what do u guys think?

How about; When I think of Aus I think of.... Kangaroo's (sorry guys but I'm an animal nut!)
When I think of NZ I think of... Home & the beautiful Waitakere Ranges as an important part of my home city

so feel free to follow this example or post something you want, maybe something to do with ANZAC day since it's coming up. Lets show that we can actually get past or Trans Tasman rivalry (but we are going to kick butt @ the cricket on ANZAC day)

When I think of NZ, I think of Was going to add another smilie to the sheep but thought I'd better not go there.

No seriously NZ just has such gorgeous scenery, I plan on visiting one day, learning some maori culture, doing a driving/camping tour. Have you ever been over here to the mainland? Darn that Trans Tasman rivalry, it's bred into us, there's no escaping it.

So much comes to mind when I think of OZ, sunshine, outdoors, red desert outback, green rainforests, beaches, great barrier reef, sport, humour, "no worries mate" laid back lifestyle, beautiful cities and vast cattle stations, unique wildlife and the best cricket team in the world.

Aussies and Kiwis will always have that "brothers in arms" connection. We have had a friendly rivalry since time began, we love our Kiwi cousins (just not the cricket, rugby and league teams)

Wombat I looove you're post, those sheep are awesome
I would love 2 visit aussie but I have to become a working woman first I think - money is a bit of an issue when going on holiday especially when it involves flying! I've barely seen NZ but I really want to say I've been out of the country, I've seen a fair bit of the tourist places in the north island but none of the south, we are often accused of flying off to other places without having appreciated the beauty @ home first
