Hello there.
Ok so I was diagnosed in 2006 and tried to find out as much as i could for about a year. Each doctor told me something different so i just pretty much gave up.
It's only now that I want to have a baby that i need to get some help.
Can anyone suggest any doctors to see in the Melbourne area??
Any advice/suggestions would be great!
Thanks in advance,
Bree xx

I'm a kiwi, so I don't know about aussie doctors. But I only started getting sorted when I started seeing gynecologists, my GP and women's health clinic for years just put me on the pill and told me I had "hormonal problems". I know how you must feel.
Read as much as you can and go to specialists, rather than your GP. If you don't feel right at one specialist, change to another, or try even going to a fertility specialist right away.
Someone I know recently went to a fertility specialist who gave her an examination and took her right through everything about PCOS. Before that, her doctors had given her pretty vague information, but the specialist has been awesome.
I hope that helps and best of luck!!!
