Default Aussies help: Heartburn in pregnancy

Hi ladies

Thought i would post on here so i can get some info on Aussie products!

I am 30 weeks pregnant(tomorrow) with my second bub and have the most severe Heartburn this time around that i need to get something for it!

Who has got some tips?? I am sick of feeling yuck each and every time i eat and with Thomas it only happened in the last three weeks.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Fee

PS: I see there is an ad on tv for Zantac 24hr relief - has anyone used this?

Rennie tabs are great. I had them on my bedside table through the last 1/2 of my pregnancy for those nights of waking up and feeling so ill.

Hey Fee, I'm sorry to hear you have heart burn - URG!! I had a chronic and ongoing dose of it when I was pg with Lach. You know, I have taken every single thing under the sun for heartburn and the very best is Zantac. It's a 'chemist' tablet, but easy to get over the counter. DL prescribed it for me at about 28 weeks with Lachie. I have taken a few already with this little jelly bean. I would take it at night so I could get some sleep.
For during the day I think Tums are pretty good and Gaviscon tablets......
Hope it eases up for you really soon!!!

i had so much rennie when i was pg - it works but be careful - it contains sugar and can throw your blood sugars. I also found liquid mylanta to help too.

Good luck.
