Hi, I just thought I'd start a new thread for us here down under. There have been allot of us talking to each other on the 'Hmmm...' thread, but it occurred to me that that was a carry over from when Big Brother ended and that there may be some ladies who would love a chat but didn't know about that thread.
Talk soon,
Donna.

Yay! I'd love to join the thread. I can never keep up with the threads in the Aussie/Kiwi forum (nobody's fault but mine though!!) so now would be a great chance!

Well I finally met little Mr Angus today........and he is DIVINE!!!!!! Such a beautiful angelic face. I just can't tell you how gorgeous he is. I had a long snuggle with him which was just beautiful and I can just feel the feathers sprouting as I wait for my own little bundle. Fee looks GREAT too!!!!
Megan - You know how happy I am for you (((HUGS)))). I have everything crossed for you for an uneventful 9 months.
Donna - Hope you haven't killed your hubby......are you still mad at him?
Deb - how ya doing? Hope those attacks are slowing down for you.
Well, we're off to my mum and dad's for the weekend which I'm really looking forward to.....
Hope you're all doing well girls. Talk to you when I get back.
Just getting my name on the thread! I cant get left out - lol!!!!
Thanks Amy for visiting and the kind words - i am pretty stoked with my beautiful boy - so it is nice to hear the same from other people!!!! He has had a really good day today - we are just hopeful he will be good tonight as well! He is having one good night then one bad night - last night he slept for a 5 hour stretch (10pm till 3.15am) which helped his mummy no end. Of course he was then ravenous and then didnt want to go back to sleep till nearly 6am but hey i shouldnt complain!!!
Anyway must go i have my other little prince wanting my attention.
Take care gals
Fee

I just popped on to share a video of Mackenzie taken the other night 'breastfeeding' his toy mouse. I hope this link works ....

Thanks for the new thread Donna!! Welcome Chilli (and congrats on your pregnancy, not long to go!), and I hope we see more people joining in our little natter sessions!!
Congrats to Megan "getting knocked up"! Clever girl, sticky vibes your way...
Hi Fee, glad to hear your doing well and Angus is being a good boy! Jealous of your big cuddles Amy!! Did your bubby have a kick while you were holding baby Angus? I always found when I was pregnant, as soon as I cuddled another little baby, the one in my tum would go nuts!
Can't remember now what else I was going to say.. Got myself caught up in the drama on the Mummies board, wow that troll crap happens alot over there! Anyways, its getting late, so good night all!!
Edit to add - I must have taken ages to post then, Megan and Donna snuck in before me!! That video is sooo cute! How did you manage to not giggle the whole time???? (I was!) Good luck for Monday Megan!

Me again, sorry, I was on and off quickly before because Campbell decided that it wasn't quite time for him to be asleep yet - I think maybe he heard me turn the computer on
Yes, it was hard not to laugh out loud at my little monkey bf his toy mouse. It is so cute, he has done it a few times now and my heart melts every time. I hired and electric breast pump today (the old manual pump isn't cutting the mustard this time), so god knows what Mackenzie will be doing next.
Nic, I kind of not got caught up, but posted on a thread that I didn't realize was a bit of a 'messy' thread, so I kind of slinked out and will keep my nose out of it. I would rather not know what is going on over there, I have enough going on inmy life right now without any 'cyber drama'!!
Ohh Megan, good luck for Monday. Try not to get all worked up, the outcome will be the same if you are stressed or not stressed. Easier said than done I know. I was sick to the pit of my stomach (literally) when I was first pg with Campbell, I had only had a MC a couple of months earlier. When I had my first U/S at 6 and a half weeks and saw that little heart beat, I went out and sat in the car and cried. It was magic. I hope you get the same results.
Hey Fee, nice to 'see' you around. I can't wait to meet your new little man. Come to think of it, I can't wait to meet Thomas either. One of these days .... Good to see that things are going well for you. Five hours in a row is a bit of a biggie. Lets hope it continues.
Amy, you baby hog! Yes I am still a bit peeved at my DH, but I am getting over it. Rohan was already in a huff the other night for whatever reason, he didn't tell me, then he went to take Mackenzie's undies off because he had done a wee in them (I was bf Campbell) and so he whipped his jocks off and he had also done a number two and a nice little nugget (TMI sorry) fell out onto the floor, so I laughed. He glared at me and said it's not effin funny and yanked Mackenzie by the arm and took him off to the shower. I put Campbell down and told him to leave Mackenzie alone, I would clean him up and he told me to eff off. Mmm nice! We are talking again now, but no appology or anything. He has however done the dishes and a few other little things around the house since then, so I think that is his way of crawling. He can just be a real tosser sometimes, and every now and then I let him know it. It is the same old story, I'm sure you can all relate. Have a lovely weekend and your Mummy and Daddy's.
Deb, Kath, Janet, Chilli, and all our other friends, Hi!
Mackenzie's second swimming lesson tomorrow. He loves it so much, I am excited for him. My 'special' husband went and booked his car in to be fixed tomorrow, which means he has to take my car to work. That is fine, but Mackenzie has his swimming lesson which means I have to get both the kids up at 5am, go into Surfers (Rohan's work), back up the mountain, back down the mountain for swimming lessons, back up the mountain, then back down the mountain to pick DH up. See what I mean...tosser!...get over it Donna. Campbell had his four month inj yesterday and it was horrible. Poor little man. Before we had left the surgery he was smiling at the nurse again, so he handled it pretty well. He has been a bit clingy since then, but then again, his two bottom teeth are popping through too. Ah the thrills of parenthood - no rest for the wicked.
Take care,
Donna.

I just want to share my pics of the moon cactus flower in my yard at the moment. This ugly old cactus has been growing on the fence the whole 8 and a half years I've been here, and I've never seen a bud or flower on it. I came home tonight to find this:
It's about the size of a big mango. My neighbour told me they bloom at night, so I went down a little while ago and took some more photos, and here's what it looks like now:
What a beautiful fower Kath. Isn't nature devine sometimes. Lucky your neighbour told you it only opens at night, otherwise you may have missed it. That wasn't McNeighbour was it??
Donna.
