I just noticed that the Ava that you have and the Ava that's on the website I have are completely different. It's possible that they're both correct according to what my mandarin teacher said. She said for every name they take characters that are custom to that person so 2 people w/ the same name could have a completely different Mandarin name. This is only for English names and not for the Chinese names.

Its true...the lady who wrote it out for us is from China and has been here (with her daughter) for 15 years now give or take...my mom works with her and she is absolutely excited about seeing a China girl come here to avoid a fate that she knows too much about
So I am taking that interpretation and sticking with it, becuz it comes from her

Beautiful! I love looking at Chinese characters. So intricate--I have a calendar that describes some of the letters-it's so cool!
