Hi, everyone. I am so glad I found this place. Nice to know I am not alone out here. I was wondering if anyone has tried the drug Avandamet. I have been on Metforman for 9 years and was told by a friend to ask my Doc. about changing to the Avandamet. Any help would be appreciated.

I was just switched to advandamet today! I have no clue but will know more in the coming days as I take my first dose with dinner tonight. Will keep you posted. My doctor and pharmacist told me that the advanda part works with your pancreas to create the insulin and the metformin part (its a combo pill) works with the insulin and our bodies to get it together.
