Default avandia

Well, after allmost 3 months my doc took me off metformin. I had some chest pains (also started a new BP med) so my doc just took me off both for awhile. He wants me tto try avandia. So i am wondering what experiences you all on it have had.
thanks
sheila

I was on avandia for a short time. I took it when I went off met( made really sick) anyways when I was on it I was having really low sugars(they said it shouldn't do this) like in the 40's so they took me off it also. So, I really don't have a full experience with it, sorry. I am now just doing diet control still waiting to see what my A1C should know Mon. If its high they want to try something so I am not sure what it will be. Best of luck please update us on how its going.
