Have any of you tied avandia. I was of met for awhile but my stomach never got used to it. I really like avandia I was just wondering if yu guys have had any luck
I have been on it for six weeks now. I have had no problems with it at all. Just when I foreget to take it , I start feeling a bad. They say it takes up to 8 weeks for it take full effect.

I was on avandia and met for a month when af started and I had none of the gross side effects that only met can give you. Since then I have lost my health coverage and I am not on nothing. I just get so blue when I think of what is happening to my body.
anyway I think that avandia was great, but I did have to get my liver functions check every month. ( I think that it was my liver)
I tried met for 4 months and was very sick the whole time. I ended up dehydrated so my dr. put me on 8 mg of avandia instead. I felt so much better on avandia. Most of my symptoms improved somewhat. I was walking 2 miles everyday so I didn't experience any weight gain, but I didn't loose anything either. I was just happy that the scale stopped going up for once. The biggest change was that af was coming every 31 days instead of only 1-2 times a year. That happened within the very first month of starting the avandia. I also know for a fact that it restored ovulation for me as I know have a 9.5 month old son.
