does anyone here use it or know about how it works? there's also a medication which combines avandia and met. (avandamet) i've heard that avandia is more direct on IR and met is more direct on lowering glucose levels. is this true?

I was just switched to avandamet yesterday. I was told by the doctor and the pharmacist that its a combo pill (avandia and metformin) where the avanda works with the pancreas to create insulin in the body while the met works with the insulin to get our sugar broken down properly... I have only had two doses so far... have no idea if I even answered your question! I just hope it works for me...

were you previously on met? is so, what dosage were you on?
do you know what you're insulin and bg levels have been pre-avandamet?
