Default Avandia Again?

Last year I took Avandia and had to quit after problems with swelling in my legs and feet. At the time my dr. suggested 2mg. but said she had never tried that dose and I was freaking out about my shoes not going on. Sooooo, I am interested in finding out if any of you ladies take 2 mg. of Avandia without other meds. If so does it still help with your PCOSl

I had great luck with Avandia as far as PCOS. I got my period on day 30 and even began ovulating. It just scares me to be on a med. that has had so little research. I am normal weight and did not gain or lose on it. I did feel great though! Absolutely no tummy troubles either. I felt better than I had in years but the fluid retention really freaked me out as well as the articles about heart problems etc.
Thanks ladies,
Chris

Default that would ,for me too

No I haven't been on it ,in fact I just posted a ? about weight gains or not while on it. I would not like my feet swelling up either, that would be troubleing. My feet swelled up pretty bad when I was pregnant with my kids and the bottom of my legs did too and it was horrible. My feet felt like they weighed 10 lbs. each.

I know water retention is one of the side effects listed w/the Actos that I'm taking and I think it does make you put out more water or something because I've noticed since taking it that I'm going to the bathroom alot more then I used to. I'm getting up about 3 time a night to go and its kind of a pain in the you know what.
