Avatar Too Big?

I have been using Photobucket to resize pics for my avatar since I joined. However, I have been trying to change mine for 2 weeks and I am consistently receiving the message that my file is too big. I have used Photobucket to resize it to the avatar size, 100 x 75. Is there something I'm doing wrong that changed?

That is the right size. You might want to just uploading your avatar right from your computer after resizing it in Paint program.

I haven't tried to change mine in a while, but I was never allowed to go bigger than 75x75. Others could do 100x100, but I couldn't. Kat never did figure out why. Just a strange glitch.

*ETA - I just changed mine, and it still says

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 75 by 75 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

Others can have 100x100, but that's never been available to me. Maybe you're having the same problem.
