here's something i discovered by accident that works for me to reduce redness and swelling from picking my zits:

One thing i accidentally discovered one day when i was picking my Zits and wanted to sooth the redness. I smoothed on Aveeno because it was at hand, and within 5-10 minutes, the redness and swelling from the picking had decreased almost back to normal. This might be beneficial alternate usage as i've also used it to reduce the inflammation of the occasional ingrown hair.
