 Aygestin Question
Hi!
I take Aygestin to induce a period as I do not get one due to PCOS. I take it for 10 days and then after a few, get it. This seems to be the only medication that allows me to cycle. I am concerned about clots leading to stroke, heart attack, etc. I am only 25 but have a history of anuerism in the family (mom died of one).
Do you think such a short dose of Aygestin will carry the same possible severe effects as someone taking it daily? I am a total hypochondriac and I have shared these concerns will Dr.'s although they seem to think it is OK. I do enjoy feeling like a "woman" and gettting a period! I also want children so hopefully this will help keep me healthy for the possibility of Clomid.
