Default B-12 pills or injections?

I have read quite a few people here are taking B-12 as part of their regimen for PCOS.

For those who have been taking it, what has it done for you?

Any preference pills vs. injection?

Does it seem to give you more energy? Gosh, if it does, I need some!

I am taking a B-12 supplement. I take an iron supplement that has 50 mcg of B-12 and then I am also taking an additional B-12 pill which is 50 mcg of B-12. It is possible that I have a B-12 deficiency which is causing a tingling sensation in my feet. I say it is possible because my regular dr. said she thought my B-12 level was fine. However, I went to a neurologist and he said that he thinks that it is a little low. I have only been taking the additional pill for about a week so I haven't noticed any major changes yet. I am also anemic which makes me more tired, so the iron has also helped boost my energy.

I personally think ALL the B vitamins should be taken supplementally.....especially B12 and Thiamin (I believe it's B2), the "Balanced B complex" vitamins. They're essential for all kinds of things...read up on it...you'll be impressed!

I started taking 1000mcg of B12 since I thought met was causing me to be defficient in b12 and I was experiecing extreme depression. It has helped a lot with the depression but I'm still experiencing lack of energy, forgetfulness, lack of concentration. I have read that the shots are more affective, I'm considering trying that.
