Exclamation Babyliss electrolysis thingy

I noticed a post regarding the babyliss home electrolysis thing (sorry, can't remember its full title) and was wondering whether anyone had tried it?

I've got one and haven't been using it regularly so can't really comment. However, I was reading 'Good Housekeeping' recently and found an article on the product saying that Babyliss were wrong to have made the declarations they had.

Any thoughts? (Wish I'd read that four months ago, when I shelled out fifty quid...)

well it definitely has reduced the thick dark hairs on my legs, but I need to get some new pads and use it more regularly to see if it gets rid of more hairs. They are definitely not ALL gone.

Is it the current Good Housekeeping? I'd be interested in reading about it.

Default babyliss

It wasn't the last housekeeping - might have been September's - I'll try to find out.

Glad to hear that it did do something for you - just lighter hair would be nice!

what claims are supposed to be false?

I've had mine for a while now, but don't manage to use it very often - in fact i've only recently managed to do both legs for the first time!! just as well DH is v. tolerant.

Certainly makes the epilator less painful.

I am desperate for any reduction in hair, so i'm keeping at it - can't hurt (although that tingling sensation does worry me slightly!!)
